Projects Overview
community Seed library
Initiated in the spring of 2013 with funds raised by Lillooet Food Matters, the portable Community Seed Library was designed to encourage and support the creation of a sustainable local food system through cooperation among gardeners and seed savers. The library contains seeds for the community to share and grow.
Now available in the Lillooet at The HUB.
farm and garden tours
Historically, LFM has sponsored public tours of many local organic gardens and farms. It is a delightful opportunity to share knowledge and experience about food-growing, both educational and fun!
If you would like to showcase your garden this year, please contact us.
Seedy saturday
At Seedy Saturday you can swap and buy seeds, meet local seed growers, clean seeds with LFM’s seed winnower, and borrow seeds from the Community Seed Library.
Visit the Events page for information on our newest Seedy Saturday event.
